The mission of the Wenatchee Valley Misawa Sister City Association is to maintain and strengthen the connection between the cities of Misawa, Wenatchee, and East Wenatchee by promoting cultural exchange and friendship. The Association is also dedicated to furthering the historical significance of the event that initially connected our communities in 1931; the first non-stop trans-Pacific flight by Clyde Pangborn and Hugh Herndon in Miss Veedol.
