Hours: 40 hours a week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some mornings, evenings, and weekends

The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce (WVCC) is a membership organization that serves to represent and promote the interests of the businesses in our community. WVCC engages with community partners and offers programs to strengthen the business climate in Wenatchee Valley. The WVCC champions our community’s quality of life and economic vitality through collaborative leadership and sound business advocacy. With over 600 members, the WVCC serves as a core advocate for businesses located within the Wenatchee Valley by facilitating opportunities for its members to engage with community leaders and local, regional, state, and federal policy makers. WVCC also serves the community by promoting our area as a destination for business, sports, and leisure travel to maximize additional overnight visitors, visitor expenditures, state and local tax revenues, and job opportunities.
Job Brief:
The Membership Development Coordinator focuses on growing and retaining members for the organization, through recruitment, retention, and member engagement strategies. They are responsible for increasing the membership base, attracting new members, and fostering member engagement to ensure member satisfaction. This team member plays a crucial role in the success of the organization by building and maintaining a strong membership base, which is essential for the Chamber’s growth and financial stability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Membership
- Recruitment: Identifying potential new members, developing recruitment strategies, and implementing outreach efforts.
- Retention: Ensuring existing members are engaged and satisfied, and developing strategies to retain them.
- Member Engagement: Building relationships with members, providing excellent customer service, and promoting member benefits.
- Membership Management: Processing applications, managing member records, and coordinating member services.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Tracking key metrics related to membership growth and using data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Communication: Crafting and delivering communications to members and prospective members.
- Event Planning: Planning and coordinating events to engage members.
- Relationship Building: Building strong relationships with members and other stakeholders.
Events
- Coordinate Ambassador program and activities
- Manage Ribbon Cutting events
- Organizing 1 Million Cups events
- Organize Business After Hours events
- Assist Operations Director planning Annual Membership Banquet
- Direct Special Events as assigned
Other Duties-
- Assist with office responsibilities and have a working knowledge of all areas of the Chamber including office procedures, programs, benefits, and visitor services
- All other duties as assigned
