City of Wenatchee FREE recycling event

This is a free event: acceptable items include: automotive batteries, scrap iron, refrigerators, airconidtioners, laptops, computers and monitors. City of Weantchee residents can also dispose of passenger and light truck tires for free until the disposal trailers are full (rims will not be removed from tires for return to owners).
Yard Waste: Stemilt Organic Recycling 1465 S Wenatchee Avenue  and includes brush, tree limbs, branches, grass clippings and yard waste. Free loads limited at two standard size pick ups per household. 
Must have proof of residence (water, power or phone bill, including personal indentification.)
NO: propane tanks, pressurized tanks, liquids, paint or aerosols, hazerdous materials, mattresses or furniture, flourescent bulbs, ballasts, household batteries, printers or peripherals, enclosed barrels or tanks, household garbage.
